Merry Christmas to everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas day and just really savoured every moment spent with your family and friends. We had a surprise present of snow, snow, snow...all day. It was definitely a white Christmas for us this year. Christmas eve we went over to Papa's house and had our traditional bloody Marys with all the fixins'! They were delicious...cheers "Great" Grandma and Grandpa Green wherever you are-we miss you! We then went over to my cousin Dan's house and had a prime rib dinner-Jeremy and his hot and spicy horsy (hoarse radish) were in heaven! With full bellys and tired eyes we kidnapped G.G. for the night and came home and opened our Christmas jammies and read The Night Before Christmas. Brenen and Dillon each picked out a cookie for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer and left them in hopes he would get here soon. They woke up and the first thing Dillon asked was "Santa, cookie?" it was so cute! We put the jingle bell antlers on poor Hopper and ran our way down the hall to see a tool bench set with drills and saws and a "manly" kitchen set with play food just waiting to be played with. Daddy was happy to see that the boys took their drills over to the kitchen set and started to repair the sink! After opening presents we had the lovely Hadden family over to share some of Great Grandpa Kuntz's sticky rolls...fresh from the oven....so good! We decided to battle the snow and finally got to G.G.'s house and spent some time celebrating there and then headed over to Papa's house later to finish up the busy day!! I think the boys were totally overwhelmed with all the awesome presents they got...thank you everyone! They were so much fun this year. Just watching them really made our Christmas complete. We thank you all so much for all your love and support you give us. We love you all so much!
Dillon loved ripping the wrapping paper off the presents!
Brenen especially liked the Jolly Rancher candy canes that Santa so kindly left in our stockings!!

Cookies By Design....Kind Of!!!
We barely got to our yearly Christmas cookie decorating this year. We have been so busy with life that we were failing to remember what Christmas is all about. Why we get so caught up in so many "things" that (in the Grand scheme) really don't matter still baffles me....anyway, I wont get on my soap box about that. Once we figured our busy schedules out...we finally got over to the wild and crazy Traeden house for the big event this year. The boys had a blast as you can tell! We finished up the evening with an awesome dinner of fettuccine Alfredo (thanks Wendy for all your hard work!) and cookies for dessert!
Dillon has the glazed over look of a happy boy who has had a lot of frosting and a little cookie!!! The orange frosting was his favorite!!!
Brenen taking a break from his decorating to show us his beautiful green sprinkle smile!!!
Yummy!

The boys have been loving the snow! We look forward to taking advantage of all this awesome Utah snow surrounding us! This year we'll stick to sledding, but next year watch out the little monkeys will be on skis!!

Christmas with Nana
Thank you, Nana, for coming to visit us from Boise. We had a fun time celebrating our Christmas with you. Thank you for all the wonderful Christmas gifts. We have already gotten good use of our "fast" shoes, play dough and Barney movie...of course!!! Mommy gets the giggles every time she watches it...we think she is still making fun of Barney and his "special" friends!!! And, boy, are they special!!!
Thank you for all the good memories, Nana. It was so good to see you again! We love you.

May The Force Be With You.........
Happy Halloween!
The boys had a very eventful Halloween day. They started the morning in costume. Poor Hopper...we wanted him to be a hippie dog but it didn't work out like we wanted it to. Dillon of course was Darth Vader and Boos was the one and only Yoda! They made Halloween cupcakes at Flo's house decorated with sprinkles, gummy worms, spiders and pumpkin suckers. They also made some Halloween ghosts and played a bunch of fun games! All the kids were dressed up in their costumes....it was a busy day at daycare! Later that evening Daddy took they boys over to Papa's house and then to G.G.'s house to show off their costumes and get a treat or two or three....it matters not! They are pretty darn cute! And finished the night by trick or treating in the neighborhood. It was a fun day filled with LOTS and LOTS and CANDY! In fact, they woke up the next morning asking for CANDY for breakfast....um, I don't think so!!!!!

Dough Boys
I made some peanut butter play dough for the boys this week. It was a hit! They used Halloween cookie cutters to make ghosts, witches and pumpkins. The boys (and Hopper) pretty much ate their whole ball of dough by the time all was said and done!!! It was fun though and really yummy!

Pumpkin Carving
We had so many pumpkins to carve this year we had to do our carving on two different days! We had Papa, Grandma, Andrew, Ali, John and the Toland clan over to carve. We finished up the night with bread bowls and chili after all our hard work. Later in the week we had the Hadden fam over to carve the rest of the pumpkins. Our sweet Hadden girls hard at work; carved some awesome pumpkins! Boos wasn't a fan of carving that day, but Dillon didn't seem to mind pumpkin guts!!
Perfect!

Pumpkin Patch
We took the boys to a pumpkin patch in Layton, Utah this year! We went with the wild and crazy Traeden clan, our new friends Franz and Daylan and Gramma G.G. Even after last year's not so fun pumpkin patch experience, Gramma decided to be brave and go on another outing this year. Thanks Gramma! The boys had a good time stumbling around in the punkin' patch and got to go on a hayride pulled by a tractor. They thought that was pretty cool! We got 4 huge pumpkins to carve this year! So much fun!
Boos decided to take a little rest from tromping around in the pumpkin patch!
Dillon thought that seemed like a great idea too!
G.G. and Brenen looking for the perfect pumpkin to carve!
We hitched a hayride to the pumpking patch....hold on tight....it's a bumpy road ahead!

Nana's Visit
Nana came to visit us from Boise a week a go. Despite the rainy weather we found some fun stuff to do. We went to the Museum of Ancient Life.....DINOSAURS......and made canyons out of mud and used brushes to find dinosaur bones in the sand!!! Nana spoiled us and made our favorite lasagne and not to mention a pretty darn good martini!! We love you, Nana!!

Back at the Barnyard
We took a little adventure to the Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah! We got to pet and feed goats, horsies and moo cows (the Donkey bites so we didn't pet him-what a jackass!). They had chickies, gobble gobble turkeys and bunnies. We got to go on a wagon ride pulled by two beautiful Belgium horsies...it was a good day at the farm!

Under The Sea
We had the opportunity to go to the Living Planet Aquarium last weekend with our Aunt Sherry, Aunt Terry and Uncle Mike. The monkeys had so much fun and loved being able to play in the water and touch the slimy sea creatures! After our fun day at the aquarium we got some pizza at the Pie; the boys gobbled it down (no surprise)! Thank you so much for such a fun day Aunties and Uncle Mike!!!!

Update.....
We have a new e-mail address: ernjer@gmail.com.
We haven't found a place to live...yet. As of right now we are residing with our good friends, the Hadden family, in Draper, Utah. The boys have been having fun with the Hadden chicks: Mia, Stella and Esmee. Jeremy is putting in some long days doing his landscaping gig. I start my new job this week at the U of U Hospital. The boys are going to an in-home daycare ran by a lady named Flo. Believe it or not, they are two of three little boys there. The rest are little girls! They are still adjusting to this big move. We will be getting new phone numbers soon and will pass the info on to y'all. We have already found a lot to do in good old SLC. Although not completely settled yet; we are excited to see what our new move has to offer.
The boys and Stella playing dress up with Hopper and Mya! This is after several minutes of dancing to Hannah Montana, of course!!!! (Daddy is thrilled!)
A wagon ride from sweet Mia Kei!
Our precious Esmee Lynne...the cutest princess girl! The boys like the baby; they call her "baby sister"!
