Christus St. Joseph's Pre School Christmas Party

December 15, 2010

The boys celebrated the Christmas holiday with their class by singing Christmas carols to the residents in the St. Joseph's Villa Long Term Nursing Facility; they brought smiles to many faces and brightened up the holiday for them. We were able to hear their carols at their little Christmas party along with making candy cane reindeer and eating some yummy cookies! It was a fun day; the boys have loved being there with Miss Sarah and are learning so much!

The boys got to do an early Christmas with their Nana, who flew in from Boise! It was so good to see her and it makes us realize how much we miss her...and her cooking! Nana, thank you so much for coming to visit, we miss you and love you so much!

Thank you for Jessie and Rex, Nana!!

A Hunting We Will Go

December 4, 2010

We went out on an adventure to China Meadows in Evanston, Wyoming to get ourselves a Christmas Tree! I know, you are thinking Wyoming? Are you crazy? Yes...BUT...it was well worth the drive! We had a beautiful sunny day; the boys and their little friend Braxton had so much fun picking out their tree, making snow angels, sledding and building a funky snowman. It was worth the trip just to watch how much fun they were having! We took good old Hopper with us and let me tell you, he ran and ran and ran...I can't say he acts like an 8 year old doggie because he has so much energy! It was such a fun time and good Christmas memories.

Our little tree...

No presents under the tree yet, just a Christmas doggie!

Go Lemons!!

October 2010

The boys joined their first soccer team...The Lemon Team! They had fun wandering on the soccer field and occasionally kicking the ball...poor coach Tony had to heard them towards the goal...it was entertaining! Although it was hard for them, the boys did play separately on the field. It was a good experience for them for sure!

Dillon Thomas in action!

Bird Dog...Jail Bird Dog

October 15, 2010

We had a runaway in the house just recently. After a very stressful and emotional weekend we thankfully found our beloved Hopper at the local doggy jail. He was an inmate at the Salt Lake County Animal Shelter in kennel 52 for several days. After being bailed out of jail he came home to a lot of tears of joy (from Mommy) and love. The following day the parolee received a microchip and a brand new name tag for his Boise State collar. You just don't know what you are thankful for until it is gone. Hopper, you naughty puppy dog, we love you!

From all my heart I thank Debbie Deb for all your help and connections with Animal Patrol and the Shelter. To Wendy and Jason for hopping in your car the minute you found out he was missing and looking for him. To Dad and Barbara for making those awesome Lost Dog signs and for posting them all over. To Mom, Bonnie and Granny for going on a Sunday drive in search of Hopper. To Lexie and Melody for offering to march right down to the shelter and check out that dog listed in kennel 52. Mel, you have a special gift when it comes to animals...you knew it was him deep down! To Jerm for dragging the boys out and posting signs all over our neighborhood and for putting up with me becoming an emotional basket case. I know if this was the cat you would think twice about bailing him out of jail! You don't know how much it means to me that all of you were doing something to help me find my pooper's doggie when I could not. Thank you for your time and helping bring my sweet boy home.
